A graphic art commission for Pinterest for Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity 2024.
Created as Pinterest’s beacon artwork, the commission was designed to be seen from a distance, acting as a colourful visual marker along the Cannes promenade and drawing visitors towards Pinterest Beach at the end of the pier. Using RISOTTO’s playful visual language of colour, pattern and modular form, the artwork transformed a functional wayfinding structure into a bold graphic landmark.
The project translated my studio approach into a large-scale public-facing installation, exploring how simple shapes, bright colour and repeated forms can create something both highly visible and instantly recognisable within a busy festival environment.
